An explosive finisher renowned for his highlight dunks, Brown averaged 17.2 points and 5.3 rebounds for Oklahoma State last season. The 22-year-old also shot 37.5 percent from the three-point line.
Brown tied guard Jahii Carson for the highest maximum vertical jump (43.5) at the pre-draft combine in May.
The Nets traded away their first-round pick to Boston last summer as part of a package for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
