LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, has "confided to people" for years that his goal is to bring the King back to Cleveland, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported on Monday.

To that end, Paul has been encouraging those within the Cavaliers organization to "offer no restraint" in their efforts to bring James back to the franchise he so famously left for Miami in the summer of 2010.

As Sports Illustrated's Ben Golliver writes, James is expected to meet with Heat president Pat Riley this week. Paul will be present for that meeting, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports wrote on Monday.

Media reports have indicated that the four-time MVP and two-time NBA champion has let Paul meet with at least five teams: the Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers

The earliest free agents can officially sign with a team is Thursday.
