Report: Free-agent guard Nando de Colo leaves NBA for Russian club
Free-agent guard Nando de Colo rebuffed a two-year contract offer from the Toronto Raptors to join Russian club CSKA Moscow, according to a report from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 26-year-old de Colo averaged 3.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 47 games with the Spurs and Raptors last season. Toronto acquired him in a midseason trade with San Antonio for forward Austin Daye.
The Raptors last week agreed to sign free-agent point guard Kyle Lowry to a four-year, $48 million contract and are reportedly closing in on a deal with Greivis Vasquez, who provided valuable minutes as Lowry's backup last season.
Toronto won 48 games and earned the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference before being ousted in the first round of the playoffs by the Brooklyn Nets.
