Unrestricted free agent forward Marvin Williams agreed to a two-year, $14 million fully-guaranteed deal with the Charlotte Hornets, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports tweeted Saturday night.

The news comes after it was reported earlier in the week Williams, who turned 28 in June and spent the last two years in Utah, was being targeted by the Hornets after forward Josh McRoberts agreed to a deal with the Miami Heat.

The former No. 2 overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2005 draft, who won an NCAA championship with UNC that year, averaged 9.1 points and five rebounds per game last season for the Jazz.
