Anthony Bennett has been pulled from a professional-amateur basketball event in Toronto by his agent, Jeff Schwartz, according to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune.

Bennett, whom Cleveland selected No. 1 overall in last year's draft, has been reported in potential trade packages for Timberwolves' forward Kevin Love.

Love recently withdrew from Team USA's preparations for the FIBA Basketball World Cup because of his "current status."

Bennett and Cavaliers teammate Andrew Wiggins, who has also been reported in trade talks for Love, were not named to the roster for team Canada, which is scheduled to play 11 exhibition games in Europe this summer.

Bennett, 21, averaged 4.2 points and 0.9 rebounds in 52 games before suffering a knee injury last season.
