Wizards guard Glen Rice Jr. will miss time after leaving Wednesday's exhibition against Maccabi Haifa with a sprained ankle.

Rice was injured during the third quarter, and the team announced he would not return to the game. "He'll miss some days here, probably," Washington head coach Randy Wittman said, according to J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic.

Rice was set to play an increased role for the Wizards after Bradley Beal had surgery to repair a fractured wrist. Beal is expected to miss about six weeks.
