MAHONEY: Injuries put Thunder's season in early jeopardy

Kevin Durantfractured his foot, Russell Westbrookbroke his hand and Andre Robersonsprained his ankle. Jeremy Lamb, Anthony Morrow and rookie Mitch McGary are also out with injuries. Jackson returned to the lineup against Brooklyn on Monday after battling a wrist injury.

Telfair has emerged as an important backcourt contributor as the short-handed Thunder continue to try to cobble together viable lineups without their stars. Including Tuesday, Telfair has logged at least 27 minutes in the team's last three games. Over four games this season, the 29-year-old has averaged 8.8 points and 6.0 assists.

The loss drops Oklahoma City to 1-4. The Thunder get two nights off before hosting the Grizzlies (4-0) on Friday.
