Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, the team announced Tuesday

Anthony left Monday's game against the Rockets with back spasms. He did travel with the team to Dallas, but not before visiting a Houston doctor to receive painkillers not stored at the arena.

Anthony played 18 minutes and had 14 points and seven rebounds before he landed awkwardly while taking a jump shot.

The 30-year-old is the team's leading scorer, with 23.2 points per game. He plays an average of 34.5 minutes per game.

Following Wednesday's game in Dallas, the Knicks travel to Oklahoma City for a game Friday against the Thunder before returning to New York for a game against the Heat on Sunday.
