Watch: T-Wolves' Andrew Wiggins throws down alley-oop against Jazz
Timberwolves rookie Andrew Wiggins threw down a two-handed, alley-oop dunk over Jazz rookie Rodney Hood during Tuesday 100-94 loss to the Jazz in Utah.
Early in the fourth quarter, Timberwolves guard Mo Williams slapped the ball away from Jazz center Rudy Gobert. Williams gained control of the ball near halfcourt and approached the three-point line as Wiggins dashed toward the rim.

Hood tracked back on defense and leapt to defend the lob, but Wiggins timed his jump perfectly and snatched the ball out of the air before flushing it with two hands. Wiggins finished the game with 21 points on 10-for-19 shooting and five rebounds.
This is not the first time the 6-foot-8 forward has thrown down an impressive dunk this season. Last week against the Cavaliers, a game in which he scored a career-high 27 points, Wiggins produced another highlight when he jammed over forward Kevin Love.

Wiggins, 19, was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft by Cleveland before being dealt to Minnesota in the trade that sent Love to the Cavaliers. Wiggins raised eyebrows with his athletic ability throughout the pre-draft process, including a workout in which he reportedly leaped 44 inches.

Entering Tuesday, Wiggins had averaged 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds while building a case as a candidate for the Rookie of The Year award. Tuesday's loss dropped Minnesota's record to 5-25, good for last place in the Western Conference.
