Watch: Thunder's Russell Westbrook soars for scooping reverse dunk

Russell Westbrook threw down a dunk reminiscent of Michael Jordan during the Thunder's 127-99 win over the Magic.

Russell Westbrook soared for a Michael Jordan-esque reverse dunk during Oklahoma City's 127-99 blowout victory over Orlando on Sunday.

With the Thunder leading 93-60 midway through the third quarter, Andre Roberson blocked a shot to spark a fast break. Kevin Durant grabbed the loose ball and hit a streaking Westbrook with a bounce pass in the open court. Once he was ahead of the defense, Westbrook took a gather dribble and exploded at full speed, angling his body away from the rim before completing a spinning, one-handed reverse dunk.

The slam brought to mind one of Michael Jordan's iconic efforts from his Slam Dunk Contest debut in 1985. Check the 0:30 mark of the video below to see Jordan, wearing gold chains, rock the cradle before going under the hoop to complete a smooth, one-handed reverse dunk.

Victor Oladipo scored a game-high 23 points and added five assists and three rebounds for Orlando. Elfrid Payton added 19 points, eight assists and four rebounds.

Oklahoma City improved to 20-20. Orlando dropped to 15-29.
