New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday is expected to miss 2-4 weeks after developing a stress reaction in his right lower leg, the team announced on Wednesday.

Holiday had been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers after missing the previous four games.

Over 37 games this season, Holiday has averaged 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 33.7 minutes while posting a career-high 18.6 player efficiency rating.

The Pelicans currently sit four games behind the Phoenix Suns for eighth place in the Western Conference.
