Young played only eight minutes in Sunday's 99-87 home loss to the Houston Rockets. Afterward, Lakers coach Byron Scott said, "It looked to me that he didn't want to be here," according to Baxter Holmes of ESPN.
In 35 games this season, Young is averaging 14.1 points per game and shooting 37.3 percent from the field. His scoring average is nearly four points below last season's average, and his shooting percentage is down from 43.5 last year, which was his best since the 2010-11 season.
Young addressed Bryant's loss after practice.
