Patrick Beverley defeats Brandon Knight to win Skills Challenge

Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley beat Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Knight to win the Skills Challenge at the Barclays Center on Saturday.
Beverley trailed late in the semifinals and final but hit the three-point shot on his first try each time.

Beverley was not originally scheduled to participate in the event but replaced Washington Wizards guard John Wall after Wall pulled out due to injury.
Beverley, 26, is in his third NBA season. He was a second-round pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2008 but did not make the team and spent three seasons playing in Europe.
