Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson suffers right knee injury against Heat
New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson suffered a right knee injury during Saturday's win over the Miami Heat.
Anderson sustained the injury with just under 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter. He remained on the court in pain before being helped off the court. Anderson was later ruled out with a right knee sprain. In his seven minutes on the court, Andreson scored four points on 2-of-3 shooting.

Anderson, a six-year veteran, had previously missed two games with a right elbow strain. He has appeared in 52 games this season and is averaging 14.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in his third season with the Pelicans.

New Orleans's 105-91 win over Miami moved the Pelicans to 28-27, two games out of the Western Conference playoff race. Mario Chalmers led the Heat with 20 points. Dwyane Wade added 19 points. Pelicans guard Eric Gordon scored a game-high 24.
