Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Saturday that center Chris Bosh has been released from the hospital and is home with his family.

Bosh, 31, will miss the remainder of the season while undergoing treatment for blood clots on his lung.

Over 44 games this season, Bosh averaged 21.1 points, seven rebounds and 2.2 assists in 35.4 minutes per game.

The 31-year-old played in his 10th consecutive All-Star game earlier this month.

This summer, Bosh re-signed with Miami on a deal worth $118 million over five years.
