LeBron James: 'I didn't come through for my teammates'
Monday March 2nd, 2015

After missing two late free throws in an overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James said, "I didn't come through for my teammates tonight."

James, who finished with a game-high 37 points but went 3-of-11 from the free-throw line, also shared his self-criticism on Twitter following the game.

After sinking a three-pointer in overtime with 43 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to 104-103, James was fouled with four seconds remaining. He proceeded to miss both sealing the 105-103 win for the Rockets.

[daily_cut.NBA]James' 3-of-11 free-throw shooting was his worst of the season. His previous low (minimum 10 attempts) came on Christmas Day, when he went 10-of-18 from the line in a 101-91 loss to the Miami Heat.

James also was on the receiving end of a kick to the groin from Rockets guard James Harden, who said afterward the kick was not intentional. Harden finished with a team-high 33 points in addition to eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Houston improved to 41-18 while Cleveland fell to 37-24. The Cavaliers had won 18 of their last 21 games including a 110-99 home victory on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.
