[daily_cut.NBA]James' 3-of-11 free-throw shooting was his worst of the season. His previous low (minimum 10 attempts) came on Christmas Day, when he went 10-of-18 from the line in a 101-91 loss to the Miami Heat.

James also was on the receiving end of a kick to the groin from Rockets guard James Harden, who said afterward the kick was not intentional. Harden finished with a team-high 33 points in addition to eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Houston improved to 41-18 while Cleveland fell to 37-24. The Cavaliers had won 18 of their last 21 games including a 110-99 home victory on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.
