Spurs' Manu Ginobili out 7-10 days with ankle injury
San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili could be out a week to 10 days after sustaining a right ankle injury in Sunday's 123–97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ginobili was injured in the third quarter when he awkwardly landed on the foot of Timberwolves center Gorgui Dieng after going up for a rebound. He remained down for a few minutes in apparent pain before being helped off by Spurs forward Tim Duncan and trainer Will Sevening.

In 19 minutes off the bench, Ginobili scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting (3 of 4 on free throws) with three rebounds and two assists.
In 56 games this season, the 37-year-old Ginobili is averaging 11.4 points, 4.4 assists and 3 rebounds in 23.6 minutes.

The Spurs (41-24) are fifth in the Western Conference, narrowly ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks at 42-25.
