Report: Rockets' Donatas Motiejunas will miss rest of season, playoffs

Motiejunas has been dealing with the injury for a couple weeks and has not played since March 25. He was originally pegged to return after a week or two. 

The 24-year-old is averaging 12.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists this season in 62 starts for the Rockets. USA Today reports that he is expected to make a full recovery and will "be just fine in the long term."

Houston guard Patrick Beverley is already out for the rest of the season after undergoing wrist surgery and will require at least four months of recovery. 

The Rockets are 53–24 on the year and currently hold the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference. They play the Spurs in San Antonio on Wednesday.
