Houston Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas will reportedly miss the rest of the season with a back injury.
Motiejunas has been dealing with the injury for a couple weeks and has not played since March 25. He was originally pegged to return after a week or two.
The 24-year-old is averaging 12.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists this season in 62 starts for the Rockets. USA Today reports that he is expected to make a full recovery and will "be just fine in the long term."
The Rockets are 53–24 on the year and currently hold the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference. They play the Spurs in San Antonio on Wednesday.
