Undrafted rookie Bryce Cotton is one of several players to audition his way into a multi-year deal with the Jazz by way of an initial 10-day contract. He’s had his moments, particularly of late; with increased playing time in Utah’s regular season coda, Cotton has scored in double-digits in three straight games against the Grizzlies, Blazers, and Mavericks.

No moment in his NBA career thus far, however, can quite compare to the shocking alley-oop that the 6'1'' Cotton threw down over the outstretched arms of several Maverick defenders:

Somehow, the right-handed Cotton caught this ball at the height of his leap with his left hand and crushed it through the rim without issue. Cotton’s athleticism—and vertical explosion—have long been part of his appeal as a player, but completing this kind of play during live action in an NBA setting is an especially impressive application of those gifts.
