Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul left Saturday's Game 7 of the opening-round NBA playoffs series against the San Antonio Spurswith a left hamstring strain.

Paul returned at the 6:27 mark in the second quarter after exiting with 1:52 left in the first quarter. He appeared to grab his left hamstring while bringing the ball upcourt and headed straight for the Clippers' locker room.

In 10 minutes, Paul scored five points with three assists. The Spurs led 30–28 after the first quarter.

Third-year guard Austin Rivers took over at point guard in Paul's absence. San Antonio held a 39–38 lead when Paul re-entered the game.

In the series' first six games, Paul averaged 22 points, 8.2 assists, and five rebounds over 39.7 minutes.

Paul was evidently upset after returning to the Clippers' bench.
