Rockets' Corey Brewer fined $5K for flopping against Clippers in Game 2

Houston Rockets guard/forward Corey Brewer has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for flopping.

Houston Rockets guard/forward Corey Brewer has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules, the league announced Thursday.

The play in question occurred during the first quarter of Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Rockets won the game 115–109, with Brewer scoring 11 points.

The Clippers took Game 1 of the series 117–101 on Monday behind 26 points from Blake Griffin. Game 3 will be held in Los Angeles on Friday night.
