Golden State Warriors center/forward Marreese Speights will miss the remainder of the Western Conference semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a calf strain.

Speights sustained the injury in Saturday's Game 3—he said he felt a "pop" in his leg—a 99–89 Grizzlies win. The seventh-year veteran scored nine points in six minutes before exiting, and then sat out Monday's Game 4.

"It's very disappointing, but at the end of the day, everything happens for a reason," Speights said Monday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "I'm just going to keep praying on it, and it'll be all right. I can fight through a lot of things, and this year, I've had a lot of injuries that I didn’t let bother me. This one, I knew it was serious."
