Sacramento Kings forward Carl Landry underwent wrist surgery in New York Tuesday and is expected to be out of action for four to five months, the team announced

Landry missed five games as a result of wrist soreness in January and opted not to have surgery. Pain persisted in Landry's wrist in the offseason, however, at which time Landry elected to get the procedure.

Landry, an eight-year NBA veteran, was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in 2007. He averaged 7.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game during the 2014-15 season.

The Kings finished in fourth-place in the NBA's Pacific Division during the 2014-15 season with a 29–53 record.
