Former NBA player Jackson Vroman died Monday. He was 34.

Former NBA player Jackson Vroman died Monday, the Lebanese national basketball team announced.

Vroman, 34, was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft out of Iowa State. He played in 87 career NBA games with the Phoenix Suns and then-New Orleans Hornets. He averaged 3.3 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Vroman also played in Spain, China, South Korea and Philippines, and played for the Lebanese national team in 2009 and 2010. 

There is conflicting information about how he died. According to the Lebanese national basketball team, Vroman died in a car accident. Us Weeklycites the L.A. County's Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, who said Vroman was found dead in a pool at his home.
