Jason Smith to sign with Magic

Free-agent power forward Jason Smith has agreed to a one-year deal with the Orlando Magic, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.
Smith confirmed the agreement through Twitter, as did his agency, Priority Sports.
Charania reports Smith's deal is worth $4.5 million. A first-round selection in 2007, the 29-year-old big man averaged eight points and four rebounds per game last season for the Knicks.
The seven-footer will provide frontcourt depth for the Magic in their first season under head coach Scott Skiles.
This off-season, Orlando has re-signed forward Tobias Harris and dealt big man Kyle O'Quinn to the Knicks.
