The Los Angeles Clippers and guard Austin Rivers, the son of head coach Doc Rivers, have agreed to a two-year, $6.4 million deal with a player option, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Rivers just completed his third season in the NBA since being selected in the first round of the 2012 NBA draft. He finished last season with Los Angeles after the team acquired him in a January trade with the Boston Celtics.

The 22-year-old spent the first two seasons of his career in New Orleans. Over 76 total games last season, Rivers averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 40.9 percent from the field and 29.8 percent from three-point range.
