Lakers PG D’Angelo Russell put on a show at the NBA’s rookie photo shoot
Los Angeles Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell turned things up a notch with a few trick plays during the NBA rookie photo shoot on Saturday.
Russell, the Ohio State product taken No. 2 in this year’s draft, first hit a 75-footer from the opposite free throw line.
He followed it up with a half-court shot with his back to the basket.

Then Russell showed his unselfishness with a fancy off-the-knee pass to Lakers second-rounder Anthony Brown.

Russell wasn’t the only rookie having a little fun at the photo shoot. Knicks pick Kristaps Porzingis hit a deep bomb from behind a curtain and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson of the Netsappeared to spend much of the day dancing.
