Clippers coach and president Doc Rivers spoke to free agent forward Glen Davis's representatives earlier this week about a possible return to the team, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

The eight-year veteran has also reportedly drawn interest from the Dallas Mavericks, with China and Europe remaining possibilities.

Earlier this month, Sportando reported that Davis would be open to playing overseas if he fails to sign with an NBA team.

This off-season, Los Angeles brought back center DeAndre Jordan, and also added Josh Smith and Cole Aldrich to back up Jordan and Blake Griffin in the frontcourt.

Davis averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in just over 12 minutes per game last season for the Clippers.
