LeBron James summoned his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates to pre-training camp workouts in Miami, according to Chris Haynes of Northeast Ohio Media Group.

Cavaliers camp is set to begin on Sept. 29, but according to the report, a few of the players and coaches have already arrived for James’s pre-camp workouts.

“I think it's great what LeBron is doing,” Cleveland's second-year guard Joe Harrissaid. “LeBron is the leader of our team. He's setting the tone and wants to make sure we're getting work in and going into camp with the same attitude and mentality. He's focused and wants to make sure we're all on the same page. He's on a mission.”

LeBron James's latest NBA Finals heartbreak shouldn't define his legacy

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player's mission is fueled by his team's loss in the 2015 Finals to the Golden State Warriors. Despite James' average of 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists over six Finals games in 2015, the Cavaliers failed to end the city of Cleveland's 51-year professional championship drought.

The Cavaliers are once again among the favorites to win the NBA title in 2016.
