The Los Angeles Lakers have signed center Robert Upshaw to a multi-year contract, the team announced Monday.

The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Upshaw went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft, which he entered following his sophomore season at the University of Washington.

Upshaw led the NCAA with 4.5 blocks per game in 24.9 minutes last season. On offense, Upshaw averaged 10.9 points with a 59.3% shooting percentage. He played in 19 games before being dismissed from the program for violations of team rules.

The 7”0’ center was previously dismissed from Fresno State following his freshman season for violating team rules.

Upshaw played for Los Angeles in this year's Las Vegas Summer League and averaged 1.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 11.5 minutes per games.
