On Thursday, the New Orleans Pelicans unveiled Mardi Gras uniforms for the 2015–16 season.

The purple, green and yellow threads were previously retired by the team after the 2012–13 season, but an updated version of the uniform was presented in front of a group of fans in The Big Easy ahead of the season.

The sleeved alternates are the fourth uniforms in New Orleans’s repertoire, along with the home whites, away blues and alternate reds.

The Pelicans open the season on Oct. 27 against the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
