Clippers sign former UCLA star Mbah a Moute on eve of camp

LOS ANGELES (AP) The Clippers have signed free-agent forward Luc Mbah a Moute and forward-center Nikoloz Tskitishvili.

Mbah a Moute averaged 9.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 67 games for Philadelphia last season. His seven-year NBA career includes stints with Milwaukee, Sacramento, Minnesota and the 76ers. Mbah a Moute returns to Los Angeles, where he helped UCLA make three consecutive Final Four appearances before being taken in the 2008 NBA draft by the Bucks.

Tskitishvili played for Champville in the Lebanese Basketball League last season. The 32-year-old native of Tbilisi, Georgia, averaged 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds in 172 career NBA games with Denver, Golden State, Minnesota and Phoenix. Tskitishvili also played in Spain, Italy, Iran, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates in recent years.

Los Angeles announced the signings Friday, a day before opening training camp in Irvine.
