Suns power forward Markieff Morris has arrived in Pheonix for training camp despite expressing his desire for a new team throughout the offseason.

Morris was publicly upset after the Suns traded his twin brother Marcus Morris to the Pistons and even demanded that he be traded as well. Morris tweeted that his future would not be in Phoenix before the NBA fined him $10,000 for his negative comments.

“I don't really want to talk about what happened this summer. I want to be here,” Morris said during the Suns’ media day before deflecting any further questions regarding the the situation.

Morris previously said he would be in attendance at training camp because he was obligated to be, but also said that he wanted to be traded before training camp even began.

Luckily for the Suns, Morris appears to have had a shift in attitude. Last season, he was the team’s leading power forward with 15.3 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game.
