NBA to simulcast Real Training Camp on Facebook
Facebook will simulcast NBA TV's NBA Real Training Camp featuring LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.
As the first of its kind, the simulcast will premiere on NBA TV's Facebook page at 11 a.m. ET, while also being aired on NBA TV and NBA.com.
Host Vince Cellini will be joined by former Cavaliers coach Mike Fratello to provide interviews with players and coaches, along with real-time coverage of the team's practice in preparation for the Oct. 27 season-opener at the Chicago Bulls.
“We have a long history with Facebook and are excited to team up with them for another first of its kind initiative, as we bring the excitement of Real Training Camp with head coach David Blatt, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to an even broader audience,” said Albert “Scooter” Vertino, general manager of NBA Digital and SVP of programming, Turner Sports. “Our goal is always to provide the most compelling content for our fans any way they choose to consume it and this initiative will expand the visibility of this quality daytime programming.”
This week, NBA TV will also feature training camp look-ins for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies on NBA.com.
