Former NBA player Glen Rice Jr. was injured during a shooting at an Atlanta restaurant owned by the rapper T.I. and charged with reckless conduct and possession of marijuana, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to a police report obtained by the Journal-Constitution, Rice was shot in the leg Sunday night after an altercation in the parking lot of the restaurant. Police later found a backpack abandoned at the scene that contained over a half pound of marijuana and Rice’s passport.

The report also says that Rice was seen on surveillance footage throwing a revolver into a stairwell. When police retrieved the weapon and ran the serial number it came back as possibly being stolen in Tennessee.

Rice’s father, Glen Rice, played 15 seasons in the NBA. Rice Jr. went to college in Atlanta at Georgia Tech and was kicked off the team in March 2012 after he was involved in a shooting outside an Atlanta nightclub.

Rice Jr. played 16 games over two seasons for the Wizards, including five games last season before he was waived. He played in the NBA summer league with the Magic this July.
