Few players dominate the low post like Hornets forward Al Jefferson, the Lord of the Left Block.
In the latest episode of Open Floor, Chris Mannix talks to Jefferson about the history of his post game, what he has learned from Tim Duncan and Michael Jordan, and which NBA players have shut him down over his career.
Jefferson also talks about which moves he's copied from fellow NBA players and candidly analyzes his own game. Says Jefferson of his unique, but effective back-to-the-basket game: "I've never used my left hand in my career."
Later in the program, SI senior writer Lee Jenkins joins the show to discuss the complicated relationship between Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. He also talks about whether the Lakers head coaching job is still a marquee gig, the leadership Paul Pierce brings to the Clippers and if the Clips are truly contenders.
