Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant left Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards with a strained left hamstring and will go for an MRI on Tuesday, he said after the game.

“Long process of me getting back and then get hurt again is unfortunate,” Durant said. “But whenever I’m ready to play again, I’ll play.”

Durant sustained the injury near the end of the first half and went to the locker room with a team doctor. Kyle Singler started the second half at forward in his place.

After the game, coach Billy Donovan said he didn’t think the injury was “too serious.”

Before leaving, Durant was 6 of 8 for 16 points in 17 minutes, adding four rebounds and two assists.

Oklahoma City topped Washington 125–101 to improve to 4–3.
