Los Angles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant said Thursday on SiriusXM Radio that if his and his team’s levels of performance don’t change, this will be his last season, reports Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

“If something changes, I’ll come back and play next season,” Bryant said. “If something doesn’t change, this is it for me.”

Bryant, 37, is in the final year of his contract with the Lakers. The five-time NBA champion and 17-time All Star is averaging 16.9 points per game, with 4.1 rebounds and a 33.6% field goal percentage through eight contests.

The Lakers are 2–9 this season, and are currently in last place in the Western Conference Pacific Division.
