Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul will play against the Golden State Warriors, head coach Doc Rivers said Thursday night.

Rivers also said that shooting guard J.J. Redick will likely not play against Golden State due to a back injury.

Paul was originally questionable to play due to a groin injury. He sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of the team’s 112-108 loss to the Warriors on Nov. 7.

After playing with the injury against the Dallas Mavericks last Wednesday and pushing himself too hard, Paul has missed the Clippers’ past two games against the Suns and the Pistons.

Paul is averaging 15.7 points, 8 assists and 3.6 rebounds over seven games this season.

The Clippers are 6–4 to start the season after defeating the Pistons on Saturday.

The Warriors are the only remaining undefeated team in the league with a record of 12–0.
