WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) Jimmer Fredette is expected to make his debut with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League on Monday night.

Westchester took the former college player of the year with the No. 2 pick this year, but he was then signed by the New Orleans Pelicans and played four games for them before being waived on Nov. 19.

The D-League team says Saturday it has reacquired the Glens Falls, New York, native.

Fredette was cut by the San Antonio Spurs in training camp and the former BYU superstar has been unable to find much success in the NBA, averaging 6.0 points in 233 games with three teams.
