LeBron James added the Nets to his hit list on Saturday, hitting a driving runner to win the game 90–88 in the final seconds for the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers held a three-point lead on the previous possession, until J.R. Smith was baited into fouling Joe Johnson with about 15 seconds left in the game. Johnson drained three free throws to tie the game at 88.

The King then went to work, given the ball at the top of the arc in an iso situation, working on Johnson. A screen from Tristan Thompson freed James up in the middle of the floor and he barreled at Brook Lopez, lofting a floater over the outstretched arms of the Nets center and finding only net.

Jarrett Jack’s full-court, last-ditch attempt rimmed out to end the game.

James finished with 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers, who moved to 12–4. The Nets dropped to 3–12.
