Watch: Stephen Curry go-ahead three tops Jazz, preserves Warriors’ streak
The NBA’s longest winning streak lives another day.
The Golden State Warriors have now won 23 straight regular season games dating back to last season, defeating the Utah Jazz 106–103 in a tight contest Monday. Reigning MVP Stephen Curry was the hero, drilling a late three and two free throws to clinch the victory for the Warriors, who improved to 19–0.
With the game tied, the Warriors looked to Curry with under a minute to go. The NBA’s scoring leader used a screen from Klay Thompson, found the tiniest bit of space on the left wing, and hit a clutch three to give Golden State a 104–101 lead it never relinquished.

The Jazz were led by Gordon Hayward, who scored 24. Alec Burks also played big off the bench, scoring 19 in 29 minutes.
The Warriors struggled at times, with coach Luke Walton going seven deep in his rotation. Curry led the team with 26 points, putting home 4 of 8 from behind the three-point line. Draymond Green and Thompson each added 20 points.

The Warriors entered Monday with the highest net rating in the league by far. The second place San Antonio Spurs were closer to the 14th place Orlando Magic than Golden State.
