Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James crashed into the wife of professional golfer Jason Day during Thursday night’s game against the Thunder

Ellie Day was taken off on a stretcher in a scary scene after James dove for a ball to save it from going out of bounds. Her head was stabilized in a brace and she was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment. James was told following the game that Ellie Day was doing well, reports ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

“She is talking. She is alert ... She appears to be conscious and alright,” sideline reporter Craig Sager said on the TNT broadcast.

Sager later reported in the game that she was smiling at one point. The Days have a home in Columbus and regularly attend games, according to Windhorst.

Ellie Day gave birth to the couple’s second child last month.

The Cavaliers defeated the Thunder 104–100 to snap their six-game winning streak. Cleveland improved to 17–7 and won their fourth straight game. They sent well wishes via Twitter to Ellie Day late Thursday night.

This past golf season, Day won the 2015 PGA Championship and rose to the No. 1 ranking. He’s currently second in the world to Jordan Spieth.
