Ellie Day, the wife of golfer Jason Day, says she is OK after LeBron James crashed into her while chasing after a loose ball during Thursday’s game in Cleveland between the Cavaliers and Thunder.

Day was taken off on a stretcher after the 6’8”, 250-pound James toppled into her seat, knocking her chair over and landing on top of her during the fourth quarter of the game. She was stretchered off with her head and neck stabilized and taken to a hospital for treatment. She tweeted on Friday afternoon that she was fine, although “sore and exhausted.”

“Being tackled by that large man I would compare to a minor car accident,” Day wrote. “My head and neck hit pretty hard so it was really scary. My whole body feels like it was hit by a truck.

Day added, in wake of social media posts suggesting that her husband should have protected her, that nobody had time to react and that there was no way James could have not stopped his momentum. She also thanked those who supported her in wake of the scary scene. The Days live in Columbus, Ohio and are regulars at Cavs games.

James had tweeted an apology Thursday night after the game.
