Watch: Heat’s Justise Winslow goes coast to coast, dunks on Ilyasova

Justise Winslow’s promising rookie season just got better.

Though no rookie season comes and goes without growing pains, Justise Winslow’s had it pretty good. He stepped into big minutes from day one, he might already be the Heat’s best man-to-man defender and he appears to have won over Dwyane Wade, as well.

What he did Tuesday night against the Pistons continued that trend, offering probably the nastiest highlight of his young career.

In the third quarter, Winslow tapped the ball loose from a driving Stanley Johnson and into the open floor, gathering steam as he barreled toward the rim. The last man back was Ersan Ilyasova, who should probably know better at this stage of his career. It got bad up there.

You’ll probably be seeing this one a lot in the next 24 hours. Winslow also probably traveled, but shh.
