Watch: Lakers’ Larry Nance Jr. scores bizarre own basket against Clippers

As the Lakers and Clippers met in the waning hours of Christmas, fate was not so kind to young Larry Nance Jr.
The rookie has been plugging away in the Lakers’ starting lineup and cutting his teeth this season. But some holiday misfortune came his way in the first quarter. As he elevated around the free throw line to corral a long rebound with one hand (with nobody around him, making matters worse), Nance couldn’t quite bring it in.
Instead, the ball rolled off his fingertips ... in the wrong direction and into the Lakers’ basket.

Yeah, we’ve never seen this, either. Keep your head up, Larry.
Luckily for the rookie, the Lakers lost by 10, 94–84, instead of two.
