MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) The Grizzlies have signed guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract, bringing the Memphis native up from the NBA Development League's Santa Cruz Warriors.

Memphis announced the deal Friday.

Williams, 26, has averaged 5.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 104 games with Portland, Philadelphia, Utah and New Orleans in the NBA. A 2008 McDonald's All-American, Williams was the 22nd pick overall in 2010 by Portland out of the University of Memphis.

The Grizzlies also recalled forwards James Ennis and Jarell Martin from the team's D-League affiliate, the Iowa Energy.
