Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will not play Sunday against the Jazz due to a strained right Achilles tendon.
Bryant previously tore his left Achilles in April 2013, ending his season. He returned the following November but only played six games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Bryant, who is playing in his final NBA season, missed three games earlier this month with a shoulder injury. He returned on Thursday, scoring 28 points in the Lakers’ 118–115 loss to the Kings. He had 19 points in Friday’s loss to the Thunder.
