Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will not play Sunday against the Jazz due to a strained right Achilles tendon, the team announced.

Bryant previously tore his left Achilles in April 2013, ending his season. He returned the following November but only played six games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Bryant, who is playing in his final NBA season, missed three games earlier this month with a shoulder injury. He returned on Thursday, scoring 28 points in the Lakers’ 118–115 loss to the Kings. He had 19 points in Friday’s loss to the Thunder.
